GaneshUtsav is a record keeping app for sarvajanik Ganeshotsav mandals. It records vargani, prepares a numbered pavti for the donor, keeps the jama and kharch in one place, and works when the pandal has no network. The app is in Marathi and can be switched to English.

मुख्य पान हिशोब एका नजरेत जमा, खर्च आणि शिल्लक सगळ्यात वर. खाली आजचं संकलन, कोणाची बाकी आहे, आणि कार्यकर्त्यांना सामील करण्याचा कोड. -
नवीन देणगी दहा सेकंदात पावती तयार नाव, रक्कम, झालं. शगुनाचे आकडे एका टॅपवर, रक्कम आपोआप अक्षरी, आणि रोख, यूपीआय व बाकी यांची नोंद वेगवेगळी. -
पावती देणगीदाराला खरी पावती मंडळाचं नाव, स्थापना वर्ष, नोंदणी क्रमांक, अनुक्रमांक आणि दोन सह्या. PDF तयार होते, ती पाठवा किंवा प्रिंट करा. -
खर्च खर्च प्रकारानुसार मूर्ती, मंडप, रोषणाई, प्रसाद असे बारा प्रकार आधीच दिलेले. बिलाचा फोटो जोडता येतो, आणि जमेच्या किती टक्के खर्च झाला ते वर दिसतं. -
कार्यकर्ते पदं आणि जबाबदारी अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष आणि खजिनदार यांनाच पावती देता येते. प्रत्येक कार्यकर्त्याने किती वसूल केलं ते इथेच दिसतं.
What it does

A numbered receipt book
Every pavti takes the next serial number, and that number cannot be edited afterwards, because it is what the donor was handed.

It works with no signal
A pandal is a bad place for a network. Receipts are written on the phone and sync by themselves once there is signal again.

Posts decide who can do what
Only the adhyaksh, upadhyaksh and khajindar can issue or correct a receipt. Everyone in the mandal can read the accounts.

Jama kharch for the meeting
Daily, karyakarta wise, ledger, pending and expense reports, each one exporting to a CSV that opens in a spreadsheet.

One code to join
The mandal has a join code. A karyakarta enters it once and then sees the same books as everyone else.

Bills kept with the entry
Photograph the bill while you record the expense and it stays attached to that entry for the whole festival.
This app keeps records. It does not take money. Vargani is collected in cash or over UPI exactly as it always was. The app writes it down, gives the donor a receipt, and adds up the accounts. There is no payment processing of any kind inside it.
